Average Day Made Special

Yesterday I started the day working out, running errands, and then going through all the clothes in my closet trying to get rid of stuff I have not worn in awhile, when the doorbell rang and these flowers were waiting.  Thanks Marty for making this average day special.  I love them.

Month Three

I am becoming one of those moms that only talks about my kid. But I just love him so much!!!

Here is what Bradley is up to at 3 months:
He almost is sleeping through the night.. we go about 5-7 hours and then he needs fed and goes right back to bed
He laughs and smiles a lot
He plays with his toys right after he eats and he giggles a lot while playing
He likes to go in the jogging stroller with mom
He loves the car
He has the darkest blue eyes I have ever seen
He loves bathtime
He still has a small cry
He seems to only throw up on Marty
He likes to go to dad's office for lunch
He likes to wear hurley
He is blonde like mom
He is still in newborn pants but not tops.. he is actually quite long...for 2 short parents
He likes to be wrapped up like a burrito for bedtime

Favorite Things

Here we go again... What I am loving right now.

Maxi Dresses- So cute and very flattering, especially while losing the baby weight...gotta feel cute in the meantime and these dresses do the trick.

 My BOB Jogging stroller... it just glides while I me and Bradley do our morning run.  I can even just push it one handed which i love... and it gives me little excuse to not workout. Thanks again MOM for this wonderful gift.

 Apparently when you have a child, it is difficult to get a lot out of church... (no surprise right)... we try to get through all three hours on Sunday but usually a messy diaper, or a really bad throwup, or just a fussy baby makes it hard... so this is where I have been getting my spiritual fill...which is great..because I am running on empty on Sundays.

Marty and I have been Abel to still go on Dates, even with our new addition.. It is nice to get that alone time with my husband..looking forward to the next date..Last date included the Avengers and Mexican Food.

 Sleep... I get up so much earlier with a newborn then i ever did for work, as soon as my head hits the pillow I am out! Love SLEEP.

The easy swaddle blanket... I hate trying to swaddle on my own..this velcro invention makes it easy. And Bradley loves this position when it is bedtime.

Every Sunday I make a Monday-Friday to do list for the week.. I don't always get everything checked off, but the important things get done and I am able to just focus on Bradley. Love my weekly to do list and love being a mom.

MoM month 2

 i love being his mom...More rewarding over any job, anywhere i have traveled, any worldly possession i have, any degrees I've earned....he is my biggest accomplishment. 

Bradley's Baby Blessing... and all that followed

Bradley was Blessed on June 3, 2012. It was a special day and so glad so many family members came out to support.  The day after Bradley's blessing i got in the car and drove to Arizona (yes all 10 hours with a nursing baby with just my sister with me) to be at my dad's side.  He got into an awful car wreck...has 2 broken feet.  Luckily, i am so blessed because he is going to be okay.  I was there 3 weeks and got to spend some unexpected time with family..  Now i am home and am just ready to get use to being a mom...which has been so fun so far.

Here is Bradley today at 10 weeks old.  He is pretty much sleeping through the night, he smiles a lot and has BLUE eyes....(this is weird because marty and i dont have blue eyes and both of our parents dont have blue eyes) ....our lives are so changed for the better.  I am optimitic that the rest of this year is going to be full of wonderful memories.

Bradley's Nursery

I am a horrible picture taker, but here is what we have done to Bradley's nursery so far.  It's pretty simple, but I did not want to do a big painting project on a house we plan to move from at some point.  A special thanks to my cousin Jonna for making this awesome bedding.  So much better than anything i found in the stores.
